I hope you love it as much as we do, Paula. One of the beauties of it is the ease of preparation.

Hi, Star! This recipe sounds like heaven on a plate! I consider bleu cheese one of the basic food groups!!! Just love that stuff. Thanks for the great recipe. Must try it soon!

MariLou, I don't believe the bleu cheese flavor is overly strong, but it's difficult to make that call when you're a big fan of bleu cheese! Hopefully some of the other people who have tried the recipe will chime in.

Wow! That sounds great. Does it have a strong bleu cheese taste? I love bleu cheese, but I have a picky family.

Penelope, I don't have anything tucked away that sounds like the recipe you're looking for but the idea of it sounds very tasty. Have you thought about asking the chef if he/she would part with the recipe? Sometimes they are very accomodating.

Janet, I suspect I must have found that recipe in a magazine as it is handwritten and clearly legible -- obviously written when I didn't spend time on a keyboard and my writing still was pretty nice! Unfortunately I didn't make a note of where the recipe came from but am glad it is of interest to folks here. =)

Star, this looks wonderful, and easy to prepare too! Curious person that I am, I fired up google to see if I could find the origin of the recipe name, and right near the top was your recipe. Although I didn't end up finding the source of the name, it's nice to know that even cooks who haven't found this site can discover it, and more yummy recipes like yours.

I've been going through recipes I've written down or clipped out over the past 25 years or so and found this chicken dish that sounds really tasty to me -- I seem to be on a bleu cheese kick! 6 tbsp butter 6 to 8 boneless chicken breasts 1 pint sour cream 8 oz. bleu cheese, crumbled 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 3 small cloves garlic, minced Heat oven to 350. Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan. Melt butter in large skillet, brown chicken. Transfer to baking pan. Combine sour cream, bleu cheese, Worcestershire sauce and garlic in a small bowl. Spoon over chicken and bake until juices run clear, about 50 minutes. Serves 6-8.
