My mom likes to make these. We used to go to Nathan's in Yonkers, NY and they had little snack sized hot dogs, so these come out very similar and are quite yummy. You can even wrap them using that pillsbury dough and they come out real nice.

oh gosh! Pigs in a blanket! I've not made those in YEARS. I am doing that this week. The kids LOVE them. I have no idea why I stopped making them. Maybe we'll do that tomorrow since hubby is working....

    Carol:

I make pigs in a blanket using the little cocktail smokies. I take a package of biscuits, usually about 12, and slice them in half. Take one biscuit half and wrap it around the cocktail sausage. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. I have never tried these with weiners but I bet they would be good.

We actually had these for breakfast Christmas morning.

Speaking of hot dogs, does anyone make "Pigs in a Blanket"? We call them "Weenie Wraps". I'd love to hear all your variations on this "gourmet delight"!

My husband could live on Beanie Weanies. They now sell several different "Flavors" at the grocery store that he likes to try.

My kids on the other hand think they're gross. :(

Pork and beans with cut up hot dogs was one of my favorites when I was little. My mom used to call 'em BeanieWeanies! And, she'd serve them to us with saltine crackers.

What about hot dogs cut up and added to a can of pork and beans. My family loves it.

We do this often in our house too. My kids love it and it's quick and easy, which makes it a favorite of mine. ;)

Not gross at all...sounds like a wonderful comfort food!

Sometimes after big eating holidays the best things to have are the simple ones.

We are probably having Macaroni & Cheese with cut up hot dogs in them. May sound gross but I love it!
