Do not worry about what the product is. Campbells uses some of their upcs on special products over and over. For example the character spagettios change every now and then, the upc from lets say Bob the Builder is now on the Sponge Bob cans.

Is there a way to find out what the upc 0 51000 17476 5 belongs to? I know it is a Campbell's Product in www.upcdatabase.com but it is not specific.

I have been a coordinator for our school going on 7 years. The UPC's that are officially marked 5 point are always 5 points. There are some that aren't officially marked that change from year to year so those you can only claim the 5 points at the time, for example, last year the Pepperidge Farm ones weren't marked 5 points but I put them all separately and rec'd 5 points because they were the bonus labels last year.

I can't answer with absolute certainty, but I will say that when my husband picked up the coordinator position midway through last year, the labels in our collection bin had been sitting for a while and we knew that they hadn't all been submitted the year before. We counted all our 5 pt labels just like we did all the rest and didn't worry about what product it came from. Campbell's accepted our full submission and banked all our points.

Incidentally, I found out in another forum post that if you have at least 51% of the UPC, Campbell's will accept it. I wish I would have known that before we submitted our banking form! We threw out a lot that weren't whole that we probably would have gotten credit for. I did call Campbell's and confirmed this with a representative. I also suggested that they put it in the coordinator materials.

If a parent sends in a yellow 5-Point UPC code, can we claim the full 5 points even if we are unsure of the product it came from. My parents usually cut just the UPC code, and without knowing where the UPC came from, I don't know if yellow UPC code is valid for this year's program.
