Last night we had a salad, shrimp in a wine sauce (I made a big batch) over angle hair pasta and gallic toast. Tonight some of the extra shrimp were turned into a white shrimp lasagna, roasted veggies and cherry bread pudding. Tomorrow the last of the shrimp in wine sauce and some of the roasted veggies get made into a shrimp bisque, roast chicken and baked potatoes

Lisa, A Wombo Combo has Primo pepperoni, linguica, Italian sausage, bacon, mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, artichoke hearts and green onions. It's really good! P.S. I am lousy at math! -- R.I.P. Corey Haim.....Lost Boys, License to Drive-love you ! -- Edited by 2864590 at Mar 13, 2010 4:39 PM PST

Jen, that IS a good deal! And I'm glad you explained your math - I was a bit confused for a minute. (LOL) What's on a Wombo Combo? I love the name. Scott you really do come up with some wonderful sounding dishes. Very creative! Momof3. your dinner sounds really good. Congrats on being able to uncover the grill! Aimee - welcome to the table! I love tacos for the same reason. Crockpots are a great invention and I need to use mine more often. Thanks Cin for the link to the results of the search for crock pot! I'll go through it too and bookmark some of them. Last night I was invited to a friend's house for dinner. She had steaks, asparagus and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Good stuff. It was a girls' night over there so hubby made broiled pork chops (he rubs them with pepper and other spices - yum!) mashed taters and gravy, and whatever veggie he made. There were no leftover of that. I had his left over pork chop and taters for breakfast today. Hehe. -- Lisa

Friday.....Pizza night! This week Round Table has a "hidden" deal....15 dollar large speciality pizzas-omg! I had a King Arthur's Supreme and a Wombo Combo. I ordered Tyler a kids pizza...total came to 38 dollars. That is a deal -they told me I saved about 25 dollars on what the regular price would be-58 dollars.....GOOD pizza is gold I guess! Anyway, Round Table pizza rules! (when I can afford it!) (20 extra dollars + tax = 25...lol!) -- R.I.P. Hi Aimee! Welcome! There are alot of great crock pot recipes on here. I love crock pot cooking too and have posted alot of them. Try using the tag "jennifer" to pull up alot of my recipes.I started tagging them awhile ago. We had tacos last night too! We had "Lime Chicken Soft Tacos". They are very good, healthy and an easy slow cooker meal! -- R.I.P. Nip/Tuck......

Hello! I am new to the forums so I thought I would jump right in. I am a mom of 2 and I work long 10 hour days, so I try to make dinner simple, yet healthy and something they will actually eat. Last night we had hard and soft shell tacos. Can never go wrong with that, especially when they get to make them all by themselves! They have a lot of fun with that. I just put out the heated shells, taco meat, sour cream, sliced black olives, shredded lettuce and cheese, diced tomatoes & taco sauce and let them go to town & create the taco of their dreams! I am searching for some good crock pot recipes, too, since I do work from home (I go into the office 1 day a week) but the other days from home I can put something on in the morning and have it ready for dinnertime. Or any other simple recipes.. SIMPLE is good with the limited time I seem to have in a day !

I allot 60 bucks per week for the 2 of us for food and 1 stop for caned goods a month for 60 bucks at Aldi. But with the prices going up here it is getting very hard to keep to the budget. WELL I MUST SAY, YOU DO VERRRY WELL ON YOUR BUDGET. YOUR MEALS ALWAYS SOUND SO GOOD. -- ><(((*>Cin(\0/)<*)))>< Desserts.....its just stressed spelled backwards
