    Sounds delicious!

I personally like Dean's Dairy Dip for my pretzels. My job started a marketing campaign for them a few months back and we've had some of their Guacamole around the office and I use them as pretzel dip lol.

The Beer cheese dip sounds like a great dip for tailgate parties though!

Trust me, it's really good and it's not like drinking beer.:)
Make sure you use the ranch powder meant for making dressing/dip and not already made ranch dressing.

This sounds interesting. I also do not like beer but I've had beer bread so I'm thinking it's not like drinking the stuff. Cream cheese and ranch, I would never have put together but this may be something to try.

    Beer Cheese Dip for Pretzels

I decided to try this dip out on my family as part of the Christmas Eve appetizers and it was the favorite. No one could stop eating it and everyone gathered around the bowl until it was gone. I recommend you try this one out, mabye for New Years Eve. My mother-in law hates beer but she loved this dip (we didn't tell her there was beer in it until she ate a bunch-lol!).
It is meant for pretzels but could also be served with chips and crackers. I used an assorment of different prezels-rods, mini-twists, sourdough nibblers etc. and placed the dip in the middle of the tray with the pretzels in sections around it.

    Beer Cheese Dip

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons or 1 packet ranch dressing mix
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 green onions, tops only, chopped
1/3-1/2 cup beer, any flavor or non-alcoholic beer- I used 1/2 cup Budweiser

In a bowl, beat together cream cheese and ranch dressing mix.
Stir in cheese, green onions and then beer until desired consistency .
    Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight.
    Yield: 4 cups
