Penny, I hope you like it! I was thinking that when my subscription to the paper magazine expires I might switch to the online version...although I do love to be able to leaf through a "real" magazine, and sometimes have lots of books and magazines spread out, with bookmarks and Post-Its everywhere. Hmm...the new site design doesn't exactly make links jump out. • Janet

Okay, it's not the classic Green Bean Casserole, but this recipe in a collection of side dishes from my current Fine Cooking magazine looks like a delicious alternative with similar flavours - and can be mostly made ahead too.
