I eMailed Judy to ask how she made them, and what kind of cookie she used..I thought it looked like an Oreo....here's her answer

Cin...surprisingly they are NOT on a cookie, although you certainly COULD use a cookie.
The recipe calls for Ritz crackers.
Spread peanut butter on a cracker, top with another cracker, coat with the vanilla almond bark, immediately place mini chocolate chips for eyes and mouth, and then have the yellow part cut off candy corn and slice the remaining candy in half length ways to place on for the nose.
Place red M&M's on each side for earmuffs, then string the tiny red licorice strips from one side of the earmuff to the other side.
Gosh it's not easy to work that fast, but my hubby was in there helping me as quickly as he could.
It wasn't as smooth and pretty as the picture in the magazine, but better than I expected, and the little kids will have them demolished in a flash anyway. Judy

I have not seen these in a magazine so I didn't know what they were to look like anyway and I think she did a really good job......

Scan a page from a coloring book into your picture's and save in a folder.......then I went to Edit this photo (some says ''open in...'') on my photo program, then did it in 'Paint Brush' (select a color, filled the bucket, then wherever you move your mouse to 'click your mouse and it will fill in the square or whatever item you select to paint'....just keep selecting different colors to use in the areas you want with the colors you want).
    Was a fun project.

My friend Judy (lives near Portland, OR) sent me a pic of her ''Christmas Snowman'' cookies she made this morning. They hadn't set yet so she still has to do some clean-up around the edges to look good (she said).....I think they are even cute just the way they are.

below is the site where I posted the pic; in my album named "Houses".....click below to have a look-see!!!
