I love chicken ala king! I make mine in the slow cooker. -- "There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination. Living there, you'll be free if you truly wish to be."-Willy Wonka

I think I have posted my recipe for Chicken A La King before..but it is a little different.. I use all the chicken left overs (You can use Turkey too) 1 can of Campbells cream of mushroom, cream of chicken and cream of celery (2 cans of each if you are making a lot) 1 can of peas drained teaspoon of Coleman's mustard white rice or brown rice or wild rice.. crispy chow mein noodles heat all the soup in a pan (do NOT add water) and add the mustard. When the soup is heated add the chicken. When the entire mixture is warm (a slight bubble) add the can of peas (or two cans if you like peas or if you are making a lot) Serve over rice Add some crispy chow mein noodles to give it a nice crunch! Now my mouth is watering for this!!

We make this when we have a bit of leftover roast chicken (can also be made with Turkey). CHICKEN ALA KING 1 cup cooked cut up chicken 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 cup Chicken Broth 1 pkg. Frozen Petite Mixed Vegetables (thawed) Salt & Pepper to taste 2 cups cooked Jasmine Rice (or other long-grain rice) Heat chicken broth, soup and vegetables over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add in chicken, salt & pepper to taste. If you would like it thicker, add in a little corn starch mixed with water. Serve over Rice. (If you prefer, you can serve over egg noddles as well).
