Oh yummy. I love turkey salad (and chicken salad too). Your lunch sounds yummy. I hope your son will cooperate and bake you some cookies! -- Lisa

Tukey salad.. I made a boneless turkey roast.. I did cut up some of the left over.. mixed it with a hardboiled egg, a smidgeon of dijon mustard, a dollop of mayo, diced some celery and I have lunch for tomorrow! I'll have it over a bed of lettuce with some tomato. Now..I can't wait for lunch tomorrow... yummmmm... maybe I can get my son to make a batch of oatmeal cookies from the recipe on the other thread..and I'm all set!

Maggie, it would be Viv's Tetrazzini here at DJ's! Her original recipe is for chicken, but turkey makes it just as good!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Cin! And yes, I must admit, much to my surprise the turkey dipped in chocolate was extremely tasty. Everyone is skeptical when I first mention it to them, but anyone who actually went ahead and tried it, said they really enjoyed it as well. Lisa, LOL. I've heard about that bacon chocolate before. In fact, bacon seems to be all the rage in the kitchen these days! I'll have to look up some of the crazy combos I've heard about using bacon with a variety of unlikely foods and share that here as well.

Turkey dipped in chocolate ice cream, eh? Well, why not? There's already bacon chocolate bars. LOL We had ham for dinner, and I put the bone part along with a generous portion of meat in the freezer to be cooked with black-eyed peas for New Year's Day. It's all I can do to wait that long. Yummy. -- Lisa

I came home from our family Christmas gathering with a plastic box full of turkey and a tub of delicious gravy. Yesterday some of it turned into sandwiches, and today it will become two turkey pot pies...one for dinner and one for the freezer. Who else has the happy excess of the holidays to make into new meals? And what are you making?
