What a great idea! Does anyone allow the kids to choose the menu for a certain day of the week? It's always great to hear the creative ways to get the kids involved at meal time.

Great idea, Anna, as usual... Letting the little ones or older ones pick the topic, probably helps them express what's going on & a great way to enjoy & relate to each other. My best

Here's a new idea I've tried recently, "your topic night." Each night a different member of the family chooses the topic for dinner conversation. While my youngsters are older, I believe it would work well with youngsters, too as they love to talk about fun things they've experienced, or why they had a great day, etc.

Everyone here really seems to have fun with this, and I've noticed our topics are often cause for lots of laughter and smiles.
